A strong earthquake, measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale, rocked the south of Indonesia’s Java island on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reports.
We have no immediate word of human casualties and material damaged caused by the jolt.
Seismologists later revised the quake’s magnitude upwards to 7.1. A tsunami alert is on.
